Places for Pollinators: birds & bees – learn which plants are best, just in time for spring planting

April 21, 2018 10am-12pm

Groundcover – 209 Main St., Bridgton, ME 04009 We are excited to host Deb Perkins of First Light Wildlife Habitats for this Earth Day weekend event! She’ll present “Places for Pollinators: how to create habitat for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.” This talk focuses on how to attract and benefit native bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies in your yard, garden, field and farm habitats, and why it matters so much. We’ll be connecting what we learn to the plants we grow and offer here at the shop, where the focus is on native plants all season. Participants will receive our plant list as well as an opportunity to purchase our new plant savings card for a 30% discount on native plants. We are not charging a fee for this event, but do encourage your generous donations to defray our costs in bringing it to you. In order to ensure that everyone who attends is comfortable we ask that you register ahead. This will allow us to plan our space accordingly.
