Calling All Photographers

But wait, there are more prizes! We want to see your best photos from the show so we are holding a Maine Flower Show photo contest. The contest launches on Wednesday, March 29th at Premiere Night. You can enter any of your photos taken at the show on our Facebook page or on the Maine Flower Show website. Be sure to invite your friends to vote because winners will be chosen by the public. Prizes for the photo contest include: one large Wilhelm Langguth Geranium in a 14″ clay pot from McSherry’s Nurseries of Fryeburg and Cozy Acres Greenhouses, a Gift Certificate for Barth Daylilies from O’Donal’s, and a 10″ carved fieldstone birdbath from C.M. Nichols Landscape Company.

So bring your smartphone, iPad, or digital camera and be sure to take lots of photos at the show and enter them into the contest.

Tickets

We are encouraging everyone to buy tickets to the show in advance, either online, or at these local garden centers. Please help us speed up the check-in process by printing your purchased digital ticket before the show, or have the Eventbrite app ready to scan on a device.

Parking

Organizers of the Maine Flower Show have been working diligently to provide convenient, affordable parking. Parking is just $5, and the Thompson’s Point lot consists of 600-800 spots. However, if these spots are full, our attendants will direct you to the nearest satellite lot. From there, shuttle vehicles courtesy of Rowe Westbrook will transport people to and from the show, at no extra cost.

Directions

You can enter the Maine Flower Show through the “Brick South” building at 8 Thompson’s Point Road in Portland, Maine. Thompson’s Point is easily accessed at Exit 5A of I-295. Drive around the Portland Transportation Center (home of Concord Bus Lines and Amtrak train service) and the road will take you right to Thompson’s Point. The parking lot and entrance will be readily visible.

See you at the show!
